Catalogue No. 1363
This is a late 18th century (c.1790) oak tripod table. The table stands on three swept and shaped legs, supporting a turned column. The top is constructed from three oak boards and tips up when not in use, by means of a brass catch. The table has a good mellow colour and one leg has been repaired on the foot, as shown in the image. The repaired leg is the backward facing leg when the table is tipped up.
