Catalogue No. 1890
This is an early 20th century (c.1910) oak trestle ended bench. The bench stands on shaped end supports that are joined by a central rail, tightened by means of a wedge (often referred to as a tusk tenon). The top is constructed from a single plank of oak that is a good colour and free from knots or splits.
