This is a late 19th century (c.1900) oak pot board dresser base. The dresser stands on slender turned legs that terminate in bun feet. The dresser is fitted with three short drawers that are faced with burr elm and have geometric inlay decoration. The drawers are fitted with replacement brass drop handles. The dresser is a warm mellow colour. The top has an old repair on either side at the back where there would have been a plate rack.
