This is an early 19th century (c.1820) oak chest of two short and three long drawers. The chest stands on shaped bracket feet with a shaped apron. The drawer fronts are decorated with a single line of ebonized stringing and are fitted with replacement brass oval plate handles (appropriate to the period). The chest is in good clean condition.
