Catalogue No. 1877
This is a late 18th century (c.1780) oak chest of drawers. The chest stands on it's original bracket feet and retains it's original swan neck handles. The drawer fronts and top are cross-banded in mahogany. The sides of the chest are edged with fluted quarter columns, often referred to Lancashire style. The chest is in good overall condition with no repairs. There are a few small age related marks to the top, commensurate with age and usage. A practical size chest of good colour.
