Catalogue No. 1866
This is a late 18th century (c1790) oak chest of four long drawers. The chest stands on it's original shaped bracket feet and is fitted with four graduated drawers that have mahogany cocked beading around them. The drawers are fitted with replacement pierced brass handles (true to the period). The chest is a practical small size. There is a repair to both the top two drawers where the locks have been altered. Overall in good clean condition.
