This is a late 19th century oak carved glazed bookcase. The front of the bookcase is decorated with naturalistic carvings of vines and fruit. The side columns are carved with acanthus leaf motifs and hunting trophies. The doors have arched glass panels that open to two adjustable shelves. The bookcase is of solid oak construction throughout, including the back panels. The bookcase is fitted with a key.
The bookcase is 137cm wide at the base. Maximum internal depth is 26cm.
