This is an early 20th century (c.1920) 17th century style bench/joint stool. Constructed in solid oak through-out, the bench stands on turned baluster legs joined by a single central rail. The seat is constructed from a single plank, with a moulded edge to both long edges and a chip carved decoration to each end. The bench is in very clean condition throughout, solid and sturdy, with no damage.
