Catalogue No. 1428
This is an early 19th century mahogany wash stand, standing on square legs. The washstand has a shaped cross stretcher, with a turned central moulding (originally to hold a water jug). The washstand is fitted with a oak lined drawer, below an astragal paneled cupboard door. The top opens to reveal apertures for a wash bowl and soap dishes.
