Catalogue No. 1033
This is a late 18th / early 19th century mahogany secretaire chest of drawers, of large proportions (c.1900). The chest stands on short bracket feet. The top drawer of the chest is fitted with an arrangement of drawers and pigeon holes and has a green baize lined writing surface. The chest is constructed from the finest quality timbers and exhibits superb craftsmanship through-out. The interior (apart from some wear on the baize) shows no signs of usage - very clean.
