Catalogue No. 2072
This is a late 18th century (c.1780) Georgian mahogany pie crust tripod table. The table stands on slender shaped legs, connected with a well turned central column. The top is hinged to the base in the normal manner (wooden pivots on a block with shaped barers fixed to the underside of the top) locking in place by means of a brass catch. The top has a well carved edge with no chips or repairs (it is unusual to have no repairs or damage for this design and age). The table is in good condition throughout with a good colour.
