This is an early 19th century (c.1830) pedestal pembroke table. The table stands on a central turned pedestal with four out-swept legs, that terminate in brass toe castors that are decorated with acanthus leaf motifs. The table is fitted with the usual arrangement of a single drawer to one end and a dummy drawer to the opposite end. The top is decorated with a wide rosewood cross-banding. The table is of good quality and is very clean.
