Catalogue No. 1853
This is a late 18th century (c.1790) mahogany chest of two short and three long drawers. The chest stands on it's original bracket feet. The drawer linings are constructed from oak (a sign of good quality construction). The chest is fitted with replacement brass swan neck handles, appropriate to the period. The chest is of a generous size and offers good storage. Very good clean condition through-out, with only the odd blemish commensurate with age.
