Catalogue No. 1488
This is an early 19th century (c.1830) mahogany chest of four long drawers. The top drawer front is constructed to appear as two narrower drawers. The drawer fronts have a box-wood line inlay that is repeated around the top of the chest. The chest stands on shaped bracket feet, joined by an apron. The chest is in good clean condition through-out. There are a few small marks and blemishes to the top, commensurate with age.
