This is a late 19th/early 20th century mahogany centre table (c.1900). The table stands on square legs, having gadrooned moulding decoration, terminating in spaded feet. The side rails of the table are decorated with carved drapery swags on all four sides, making the table free-standing. The table top consists of a piece of russett and charcoal marble, having good white veining. The table bares the makers label of Henry Green, cabinet maker, 120 Gt Titchfield St, London. This table is of excellent quality and very clean with no marks or scratches. Fitted with a later replacement piece of quality marble.
