This is an early 19th century (c.1840) mahogany bow fronted chest of two short ad three long drawers. The chest stands on shaped bracket feet connected with a shaped apron to the front... The drawer linings are constructed using oak and the drawer fronts display a good graining within the mahogany. The drawers have ivory diamond shaped escutcheons and are fitted with replacement brass ring handles (of the period). The chest is in good overall condition with only a few minor age related marks.
