This is an early 19th century (c.1830) mahogany bow front chest of two short and three long drawers. The chest stands on shaped feet connected by an apron. The drawer linings are constructed in oak. the drawer fronts exhibit good graining and are fitted with brass oval plate handles. The chest is in good clean condition with one old repair to the rear of one side (not noticeable). There are some minor old repairs to the edge of the top but otherwise there are no marks or damage.
