Catalogue No. 1805
This is a late 18th / early 19th century (c.1800) cherrywood pot board dresser with plate rack. The dresser stands on square legs and has a shaped central support below three short drawers that retain their original turned knobs. The plate rack has three shelves with a plain frieze and moulded cornice above. The plate rack back boards are exceptionally wide at 55cm each board.
A good clean dresser with a warm mellow colour. Not being too tall, it would be great for a small cottage.
